School libraries are dynamic, social and flexible learning spaces. Our school library plays a pivotal role in the life and education of the girls at St John Fisher College.
Our school library provides:
- a welcoming environment for all students and staff
- a carefully curated and contemporary collection of resources including Non-Fiction and Fiction books, graphic novels, picture books, websites and electronic databases
- printing services, IT Support for student laptops and general technical support
- research and referencing training and support
- qualified and skilled staff members
- numerous extra curricular activities throughout the year, such as LEGO building, puzzles, Book Clubs, and Readers Cup competitions, as well as our Girls Write Now Literary Festival (Book Week) and Write a Book in a Day events.
The library is the heart of our school, and provides a nurturing and supportive environment where our girls can relax, study and learn collaboratively.
Opening hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
